Frank Yan of Sacramento on Kale Salad

With summer heating Sacramento resident Frank Yan typically enjoys preparing non cooked meals such as salads. Let’s be honest, salad is something that can become a bit dull if you do not add some serious variety into it. But Frank Yan knows how good and healthy salad is for us, and that the evidence of kale being a superfood has the abilities to be continually mounting.

One day in Frank’s Sacramento home it made sense for him to recipe and explore a delicious way to show off this crunchy, leafy green.

Frank Yan prepared his version of Kale Salad that was topped to the brim with nutrient dense ingredients that will have anyone begin to glow from the inside out. Frank put the perfect amount of maple syrup and avocado oil that created the absolute perfect amount of savory and sweet flavors that were countered with protein rich crunch of delicious hemp seeds. This delicious dressing for the kale, many of Frank’s Sacramento guests immediately saw that they found the most nutritious vegetables around to perfectly complement a uniquely savory dressing that Frank Yan discovered.

Frank Yan of Sacramento on A Tatse of Old Tiburon

As you may know by now, Sacramento resident, Frank Yan has expressed his favorite short time destinations has been his love of the Bay Area. The Bay Area is only about an hour to an hour and a half away from Sacramento which is an easy commute for Frank.

Another destination towards the Bay Area that Frank Yan enjoys is a small town in Marin County, Tiburon. Tiburon is situated at the tip of a peninsula stretching out into the San Francisco Bay, where the stunning views are nothing short of being spectacularly amazing. Especially Tiburon’s 20-minute ferry rides towards the Golden Gate, Pier 41, and Frank’s favorite, Angel Island.

For a more extensive venture, Frank Yan recommends to hike the Ridge Trail or head to Muir Woods. Muir Woods is an awe inspiring redwood forest. You can take your bike and cycle the 3 mile paved Tiburon Bike Path to Blackie’s Pasture Park, while you can see people window shopping and browse through boutiques and art galleries on Ark Row.

Tiburon is about an hour and forty five minutes from Sacramento.

Frank Yan of Sacramento on Heart Attacks and Hot Water

One day Frank Yan ran into his friend who practices nuclear medicine at the Sacramento Heart Association in Sacramento. They both spoke how the Asian culture drink warm water during their meals and how this practice can avoid heart attacks.

The Chinese drink hot tea during their meals, not cold water. Frank Yan says that perhaps it's time that we should adopt this drinking habit while we eat our meals.

It's always nice to have a cold drink during and after a meal especially when it is hot. But, cold drinks will solidify the oily foods that we consumed and will slow down our digestion. As soon as this "sludge"reacts with the acid, it will the break it down and them absorbed by our intestines quicker than the solid foods. It will then line up the intestines which will soon turn into fats that will block our arteries.

This is Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack.

Not every heart attack complication will be the left arm hurting and we may not have the first upper chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Frank says we should be aware of intense pain in our jaw line. Intense sweating and nausea are also common symptoms. 60% of those people who have a heart attack while they are asleep never wake up.

Embarrassingly enough, I had never actually worked with fresh ginger, and it was quite the adventure! I read all about how to pick it out in the produce section, and the right way to work with it. This blog even had helpful tips about how to peel it with a spoon! I did my research, made a few recipes and hope you can take away something useful from this post. I’d love to hear from you about other ways you use it!

Ginger root is a rhizome that is found around this world. It is used traditionally in other countries. Such as ginger wine that can be found and produced in The UK, China’s common use of pairing sliced ginger with delicious cuisines such as crab and lobster, and Jamaica’s Jamaican ginger cake.
